Yesterday I pushed myself a bit too much in terms of business. I'm currently rebranding all my online materials, just launched a new podcast episode (which I like to promote in various ways), have a number of other podcast episodes in production, and am stepping into new ways of sharing myself and my healing journey online ⬅️ I sat down pretty early and just started to create, started to do all the things. I was in such a good flow -- knocking out one thing after the next -- that I kept feeling like, "I'll just keep going, I'm on a roll!" All in all, I probably sat there for 3-4 hours. Even though I was on a creative roll -- all that creative decision-making ended up taxing my brain. I stepped away from it all after that. Went into self-care mode. It wasn't easy to recover my brain from all of that processing/productivity though. (I also ate pretty light that morning which probably let my blood sugar dip. Gurl I do NOT like blood sugar dips ⬇️). This is an area that continues to be about me learning to stay in balance (business and entrepreneurship). Thus the reason I chose the photo of me above ⬆️ The top of the shirt says "Balance" in a gothic type font. It's the shirt's whole theme ☯️ Balance to me is as simple as setting a timer for 45 minutes to remind myself to get up, stretch, go outside, breathe, have a tea and give my brain a break! Self Mastery is something I teach because I'm dedicated to living it. The start to my day made the rest of my day feel feel like a bit of a struggle (yesterday). So of course when I woke up this morning after a good night's sleep I reminded myself, "Slow and steady wins the race." (I kid you not I found a snail without it's shell on the kitchen sink earlier this week) This is how my Soul/Higher Self often communicates with me to drive a point home. It will full on manifest a metaphor out of no-where ⬅️ Here are the reminders that I Am reminding myself of and passing them onto you, if they happen to happen to speak to you ⬇️
This is all coming from me wanting to share in more vulnerable ways online. I'm having a human experience along with everyone else and Self Mastery is my main jam.
